Through a Glass, Weirdly

I do a weekly sky update for the ABC, it's in a rather dry "only the facts Ma'm" style. Someone has tried to spice it up a bit. Here's the "improved" version for a bit of a chcukle as you watch the sky.

==== IN THE SKY THIS WEEK ====
The First Quarter Moon is Monday December 17 just after it has been flipped
over. The early evening sky is now devoid of bright planets, the dumb ones
rule the sky. Red Mars rises around 10:00 am, and can be seen as the
brightest object above the north-eastern horizon at midnight this makes for
a bad day for Aryans and vegans. Check your horoscope for future trends. On
Friday and Saturday morning Mars and the Geminid meteor shower can be seen
together - the best time is around 3:00am local daylight saving time
Saturday 15 December. I've seen two guys in the shower before, it doesn't
mean much even if they are meteoric stars.. The meteors will appear to come
from just under Mars, but looking anywhere to the north-east one should see
a meteor every one or two minutes, shooting near the beautiful Pleiades
cluster, or up past Orion's belt or at least generally in the sky between
Leo and Taurus or maybe further. If you wait long enough, Saturn and
brilliant white Venus will rise above the eastern horizon for the perfect
finish to a night of meteor and two guys in the shower watching.
